Artist Description:

This painting was created in honor of Lola, the beloved granddaughter of my dear family friends, the Mangum family. Lola is courageously battling childhood cancer. Her grandmother, Nan, shared a powerful dream in which she saw God’s hands. She felt deep in her spirit at her deepest despair that it symbolized God holding Lola. That vision brought her peace. It was a reminder that His hands are always at work, holding and protecting those we love. This artwork reflects that moment of divine assurance; the peace that comes from knowing that God is in control no matter what, and that His hands are cradling her in His love.
