Artist Description:

Jesus hung on the cross, crowned with thorns, suffering for the sins of the world. Above Him was a sign ordered by Pilate that read: "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." In this artwork it is written in Hebrew, but in reality the notice was written in three languages: Hebrew, Latin, and Greek (so that everyone could understand).
